Our St. Dominic Forensics students had a terrific night at the St. Dominic Forensic Festival
February 9. Despite the snow, 265 students participated in the event. Jeremiah B, one of our
own eighth graders, took home a first place trophy. Katherine K, one of our seventh graders,
took home a second place trophy. Max R and Chuck B, two of our eighth graders, as well as
sixth grader, Gretchen B, took home third place trophies. In addition, blue ribbons were
presented to Kate P, Matt S, Jimmy B, Abby R, Maggie N, and Elizabeth O. Red ribbons were
presented to Evelyn B, Riley A, Maggie J, Kennedy D, Grace F, Ceci G, and Molly R. Way to go,
Knights! Many thanks to the volunteers who braved the elements to make the night a success.
Our Middle School Forensics team had a fantastic weekend February 16 and 17. On Friday
afternoon, 10 of our students competed at Pilgrim Park Middle School along with 600 other
students from around the metro area. Blue ribbons were earned by eighth graders Jeremiah B
and Elizabeth O. In addition to earning blue ribbons, Kate P, seventh grader, as well as Chuck B
and Max R, eighth graders, also moved on to the Power Round. Red ribbons were won by
seventh graders Kennedy D, Grace F, Ceci G, Molly R, and Katherine R. On Saturday morning,
eighth grader Jeremiah B, and seventh graders Kate P and Maggie N brought home the 3rd
place team trophy for their combined scores. Jeremiah also earned a 2nd place medal while
Kate P won a blue ribbon and Maggie N earned a red ribbon. Congratulations, Knights!
Congratulations to Elayna P, one of our eighth graders, who will be performing in Christian
Youth Theater's production of Mary Poppins. The show features 99 kids aged 8-18 and will take
place February 23-25 at the South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center. Tickets are available at

Congratulations to our sixth grade girls "black" basketball team for their first place win in the
gold bracket this past weekend in the St. Dominic Basketball Tournament. It is always nice to
see the home team place first. Way to go, Knights!
