This Lent, our parish has the exciting opportunity to participate in an archdiocesan-wide survey through the Catholic Leadership Institute called The Disciple Maker Index. This survey provides you with an opportunity to reflect on your relationship with Christ and how our parish supports your spiritual growth. The feedback you share will help us identify opportunities to further enhance our parish ministries, set priorities, and allocate resources to better accompany you in your faith journey.
The information you share will be anonymous. St. Dominic will not see individual responses from this survey.
Thank you in advance for your continued support of our parish community!
Link will be available here!
Update you contact information to make sure you receive the survey link via email!
St. Dominic Catholic Parish Family,
Our mission at St. Dominic is to seek, know, and become Christ. We are making this commission a major focus of our parish. So far, we have restructured our parish formation department and much work has been done revitalizing our Stewardship Commission. With our staff and Pastoral Council, we are laying the foundation to align our parish ministries around a process to facilitate spiritual growth.
A free survey tool has been made available to us by the Catholic Leadership Institute. It is called The Disciple Maker Index (DMI) Survey. The survey asks you to reflect on your own spiritual growth and identify the ways in which we, the parish, effectively supports that growth. At the completion of the survey, our parish will receive an aggregate report. We will NOT have access to individual survey responses.
The survey will be accessible online and in paper form from Sunday,February 23 through Monday, March 23, 2020. I really encourage every adult, 18 years and older, take time to fill it out. On average, it takes 15-20 minutes to complete. Besides receiving the survey via an email link, there will be additional opportunities to complete this survey.
This survey offers us a unique and important opportunity to learn about issues of importance to families in a confidential and professional way. We will use these results to:
The results you provide will help us to better minister to you and shape our parish for the next twenty years!
To help facilitate this survey, we are asking all families in the next two weeks to update their contact information with the parish. Currently, for many of you, our database has one email address and phone number for each family. We desire to have an email address and phone number for all adults over the age of 18. Watch for an opportunity to complete a contact information form via email or call the Parish Center to verify the information we have on record.
Thank you in advance for your assistance and for sharing your spiritual journey through the survey. Meanwhile, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact Andrew Schueller, Director of Formation who is the lead for this endeavor.
Rev. Dennis J. Saran
The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete.
Parish leadership will participate in a consultation session with the Catholic Leadership Institute. Following that meeting, we will offer a number of sessions to share with you what we have learned, highlighting the things to celebrate and opportunities for growth.
We ask that all parishioners, 18 years of age and older complete the survey.
This survey comes at a great time for our parish. We have already started better aligning our formation department around forming and equipping disciples. The input that you provide will assist our parish leadership to set priorities, align our ministries, and allocate resources so that we can better accompany you in your faith journey.
The Survey will open on Sunday, February 23rd and Close on Monday, March 23rd.
While it is the easiest way to complete the survey, paper copies are available in the Narthexes, Parish Office, and School office.
The Catholic Leadership Institute created and facilitates the Disciple Maker Index.
We expect to have initial survey results in late spring/summer. Parishioners will be kept informed throughout the process through our various communication channels and on this webpage.
