Welcome New Faculty and Staff

    Mrs. Rebecca Litscher
We are pleased to welcome Mrs. Rebecca Litscher to our sixth grade. Mrs. Litscher carries a Masters in Education and BA in English and Creative Writing. She has a phenomenal background that will serve our students well. Rebecca’s most recent teaching experience has been at MATC as a success coach and transitional specialist. This means that she works with adults striving to complete their GED. She and her family will also be joining St. Dominic Catholic Parish. They have been worshiping with us for the last three years as they followed Fr. Aaron over from St. John Vianney. They thought it would be about time to officially become members. Mrs. Litscher is super thrilled to be joining us and can’t wait to get started. She looks forward to meeting all of you!

    Mrs. Sarah Wagner
Please welcome Ms. Sarah Wagner! She is coming to us as our new fourth grade teacher from St. Gregory the Great Catholic School in Milwaukee where she has taught both third grade and middle school. Prior to St. Gregory’s, she taught sixth grade at St. Matthias. She earned her BS in education with a minor is science and social studies from the UW–Milwaukee. We are thrilled to be welcoming Ms. Wagner to the Knight family, and she is super excited to be joining us.

    Mr. Lou Chapman
Please also welcome Mr. Lou Chapman! He was conducting one of his basketball camps here when we started a conversation about the position. He had been feeling a tug on his heart to return to the classroom. Mr. Chapman has a BS in Interdisciplinary Science from Missouri Western State University and a Masters of Science in Education from UW-Whitewater. He has a diverse set of teaching and coaching experiences that includes leading the 2011-2012 UW-Whitewater men’s basketball team to a state championship. In starting his camps and working with children, he realized that teaching children is where he wants to be. I am beyond excited that he has decided to join us in loving and caring for God’s children here at St. Dominic as our physical education teacher.

    Mrs. Karla Bryant
Mrs. Karla Bryant will be joining us as our new Kindergarten Connection aide. She comes to us with years of experience, including running her own day care center. Her enthusiasm and positive energy are contagious! During her visit, she started engaging with the students right away. We can’t wait to see her in action with the Knights.
