"..we do not cease praying for you and asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding to live in a manner worthy of the Lord, so as to be fully pleasing, in every good work bearing fruit and growing in the knowledge of God.." Collossians 1:9-10

We hope you take advantage of the opportunities to deepen your relationship with God, grow in faith, enrich your prayer life, and discover new friendships through our adult ministries! Being a part of a parish family is more than filling a seat, it is finding purpose in your walk with God, and being transformed into the image of Jesus, a bit more each day.

Tuesday Time-outs

All adults (18 years and older) are invited to take a "time-out" to build their relationship with Jesus, learn a little more about their faith, and spend time with others seeking to grow in faith. Session are on Tuesdays from 6:15-7:30 PM. Come when you can! This time is for you! See the bulletin or the event calendar for upcoming dates and topics.
Contact Jill Fisher for more information or to offer ideas for topics to discuss.

Small Groups

Do you desire the opportunity to authentically seek Jesus alongside a community of friends?  Then our small faith sharing communities are perfect for you!  They are groups of 6 to 10 people who meet weekly in member’s homes or area coffee shops to pray, discuss scripture, and walk with one another in our faith journey. We offer groups for men, women, couples, young adults, and students. Small groups are great for anyone desiring community and wishing to grow in their love for Jesus Christ and His Church.

If you wish to join a small group or you have further questions, please contact Claire Ziolkowski

Discipleship Training Group

Do you feel like you’ve been walking the road of discipleship for a while and are ready for the next step?
Do you crave tangible ways to be Christ’s hands and feet in the world?

If so, the Missionary Discipleship Training Group might be just what you need!

Our Missionary Disciple Training Group is a 12-week intensive journey designed to solidify your connection to Christ and teach you practical skills to be able to share that connection with others. When you’re done, you’ll be able to share your faith story with anyone who asks. You’ll feel more comfortable praying spontaneously for others. And you’ll have a clear vision of how God is calling you to be on mission in the world. We are all called to help spread the Kingdom of God on earth. Join us to find out what that looks like for you! Contact Claire Ziolkowski for more information.

Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus is an affiliated organization with St. Dominic Catholic Parish. We are Catholic men of faith and men of charitable action. Knights of Columbus is a Catholic Fraternal Organization engaged in charity (local and global in scope), life insurance, and faith-based institutional investing. Each local conference/council serves at the pleasure of the pastor and strives to meet the needs and mission of the parish it is associated with. This is always done within the context of each organization's unique spiritual identity and mission. The order has four guiding principles: Charity; Unity; Fraternity, and Patriotism. These principles form the basis of our mission, which is to put our faith into action and grow closer to God by serving our families, our parish, and our community in a bond of love.  We put faith into action in four categories: Faith, Family, Community, and Life.

Women

Women of Grace

Join women of the parish and from around the archdiocese, who gather together seeking grace, seeking meaning, seeking hope, seeking Christ. We are a mixture of women: single, married, widowed, kids, no kids, unable to have kids, faith-filled, questioning faith, young and young at heart! All are welcome. Women of Grace is a place to walk in community on your  spiritual journey. Women of Grace offers nights of faith-filled speakers and prayerful moments, 5-6 per year, between September and April.

Seniors

St. Dominic provides an opportunity for adult seniors to have both spiritual and social interaction with others through our Super Seniors group. Monthly gatherings begin with Mass, followed by a catered lunch and social program. A summer picnic is planned each year in July at a local park, and a  special Christmas program is celebrated in December at a restaurant.
