High School

About Us

Life Teen is a dynamic community of high school students who desire to be disciples. At St. Dominic, we seek to provide teens with a welcoming and safe place to grow in their relationship with God and explore ways to put their faith into action. Our core team of caring adults accompany our young people as they navigate the stresses of high school and living their faith in an increasingly post-Christian world.

Our Ministries

Discipleship Semester

The Discipleship Semester is offered during the fall semester. It is designed ideally for high school freshman while they transition into their new school community. It includes an encounter retreat and weekly small groups to explore the habits of discipleship.  The Discipleship Semester is a pre-requisite for the confirmation process.

Sunday Night Life Teen

Life Teen is our large group ministry for high school students. Life Teen provides teens with a community to grow in the habits of discipleship, support one another, and discuss real issues teens are navigating in life.  Each night includes a message, small group discussion, worship, and lots of fun.

Life Teen is held on the First and Third Sunday nights in the Marcy Center. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. with our night starting at 6:30 p.m.

Life Teen Small Groups

Life Teen Small Groups are Lectionary-based discipleship small groups that are designed to help teenagers gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for Sacred Scripture and the Holy Mass. Small Groups meets seasonally in the St. Dominic Student Lounge to pray, discuss scripture, and walk with one another in our faith journey. Small groups are great for anyone desiring community and wishing to grow in their love for Jesus Christ and His Church. Summit is open to all high school teens.

Peer Leadership

Peer Leadership is a ministry that allows teen disciples to accompany their peers in their journey to seek Christ, know Christ, and become Christ.

Our Core Team is literally at the core of everything we do. Our Core Team is a group of volunteer ministers who give their time and talents to accompany teens to seek Christ, know Christ, and become Christ. Very simply, a Core member's job is to share Jesus Christ with teens. Their job is relational ministry which shows teens that they are valued and loved by God.

We Need Your Help! If you feel like Core Team is something that you would like to join, please arrange a time with Andrew to grab a cup of coffee (my treat) to discuss further!
