About Us
Life Teen is a dynamic community of high school students who desire to be disciples. At St. Dominic, we seek to provide teens with a welcoming and safe place to grow in their relationship with God and explore ways to put their faith into action. Our core team of caring adults accompany our young people as they navigate the stresses of high school and living their faith in an increasingly post-Christian world.
Our Ministries
Discipleship Semester
The Discipleship Semester is offered during the fall semester. It is designed ideally for high school freshman while they transition into their new school community. It includes an encounter retreat and weekly small groups to explore the habits of discipleship. The Discipleship Semester is a pre-requisite for the confirmation process.
Sunday Night Life Teen
Sunday Night Life Teen is Currently Suspended Due to the Coronavirus. Students are encouraged to sign-up for a Life Teen Small Group, many that are meeting during the traditional Sunday Night Life Teen timeframe.
Life Teen is our large group ministry for high school students. Life Teen provides teens with a community to grow in the habits of discipleship, support one another, and discuss real issues teens are navigating in life. Each night includes a message, small group discussion, worship, and lots of fun.
Life Teen is held on Sunday nights in the Marcy Center. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. with our night starting at 6:30 p.m.
Life Teen Small Groups
Life Teen Small Groups are Lectionary-based discipleship small groups that are designed to help teenagers gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for Sacred Scripture and the Holy Mass. Small Groups meets twice a month in the St. Dominic Student Lounge to pray, discuss scripture, and walk with one another in our faith journey. Small groups are great for anyone desiring community and wishing to grow in their love for Jesus Christ and His Church. Summit is open to all high school teens.
Peer Leadership
Peer Leadership is a ministry that allows teen disciples to accompany their peers in their journey to seek Christ, know Christ, and become Christ.
