Join us October 9, 2025 for a bus trip to the National Shrine of Mother Cabrini in Chicago!
- Depart from North Parking lot at 8:00 AM. Light breakfast on the bus.
- Tour of the Shrine followed by an opportunity for prayer and visiting the gift shop
- Lunch Buffet at Birchwood in Bristol, WI. Menu: Broasted Chicken, Pot Roast, BBQ Ribs, Roasted Turkey, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Corn and Sweet Potatoes, soup, salad bar, and homemade cobbler.
- Visit the Mars Castle in Kenosha on our way home.
We will offer the Cabrini movie in the bus on the way to Chicago. Canonized in in 1946 by Pope Pius XII Mother Cabrini established 67 Schools, Hospitals and Orphanages.
- Patroness of Immigrants: Mother Cabrini is honored as the Patroness of Immigrants.
- First American Saint: She holds the distinction of being the first American citizen to be canonized by the Catholic Church.
- Ongoing Work: Today, her order continues to operate in over 15 countries, carrying out the work of the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
The shrine is also designated as a place of the Jubilee graces in this Jubilee Year of Hope. We will be making a visit to the shrine’s chapel and pray for the indulgences offered in this Jubilee year.
