Safeguarding God’s Children
At some point, you will want to:
• Volunteer in the school
• Help coach a team
• Go on a field trip
• Attend the class party in the classroom
• Be part of the Edge or Life Teen core team
• Work with our children
To be eligible to work with children, you must complete the safe guarding curriculum. This is a two-part process and must be completed in order:
• Part 1: Complete the “First Time Volunteer” web-based program.
• Part 2: REGISTER in CMG and attend ONE live session, either the ones listed below at St. Dominic or one on the CMG site
o Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at 6:00 PM in Marcy
o Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at 6:00 PM in Marcy
Please note, you only need to complete/attend if you have not attended a live session. Once you complete the initial curriculum, you are notified when the 5-year renewal is due. Not sure of your certification status? Please e-mail for a records review before you proceed.
