The purpose of a mission appeal is to make Catholics aware of our universal calling to support missionary efforts around the world. Through the mission appeal we are educated about serving the needy in countries that struggle financially. Our Baptism reminds us that we are united in the life of Christ and it is our responsibility to care for those who bring the Gospel to the ends of the earth.
