10-Day Pilgrimage to Austria & Bavaria

    Led by Fr. Sweeney—August 11-20, 2026

    Brochure & Enrollment Form

Join Fr. Sweeney and our Middle School Minister, Karissa Tousignant, on this small  group 10-day pilgrimage. Be immersed in German heritage, awed by natural beauty, and unwind with stays in only 3 hotels. Take in some of the most beautiful and unique abbeys, cathedrals, and shrines in Vienna, Salzburg, and Munich.

    Dear Friends,

I invite you to join us on our pilgrimage to Austria and Bavaria's greatest cities and special places dear to Christian hearts! We'll begin in Vienna. You don't need any musical experience to enjoy the city of Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, and Strauss! We will explore St. Stephen's Cathedral n Klosterneuburg Abbey, and enjoy free time to explore the city. We'll stop at Melk Abbey, crowning a rocky hill overlooking the Danube.

As we travel on to the Baroque city of Salzburg, we will stop to visit the Shrine of Mariazell, a pilgrimage center in Austria dedicated to the Blessed Mother. In Salzburg, we'll visit the Shrine of Maria Plain, enjoy a guided tour of the city's most famous sies, and visit the Braustubl tavern and brewery, Austria's largest outdoor beer garden. Continue to Altotting, often referred to as the "Lourdes of Germany" due to the thousands of pilgrims coming here ever year for healing, before arriving in Munich, a city that exudes Bavarian charm. Visit Neuschwanstein, perhaps the most famous castle in the world, and Ettal Abbey giving us insight into monastic life. End our tour in Munich, exploring the most famous sites and enjoying a farewell dinner at a traditional Bavarian-style restaurant.

Best of all, we will be celebrating our faith, forming deeper bonds of friendship, and enjoying food and customs of another culture. There is nothing like sharing such experiences with friends and family in faith. Please consider joining us!

    Enroll by December 8, 2025.
