Mr. Mark Eagon
Strings Orchestra Director
Office: 262.783.7565, Ext. 238
Mr. Eagon is delighted to have the opportunity to work with the St. Dominic community. Ever since he discovered his mom's old violin in the attic when he was 4 and started plucking it, he has been hooked on strings! Mr. Eagon grew up in West Allis where he was fortunate to have Ron Melby as his orchestra director in Middle and High School. He inspired him to be disciplined and diligent in working at the art and craft of music.
He and his wife, Linda, whom he met at UW-Milwaukee when they were randomly chosen to be in a string quartet for a chamber music class - she on cello, he on 1st violin, have two wonderful boys, Stefan and Gabriel. They are members of St. Josaphat Basilica.
Mr. Eagon loves to teach and play a wide variety of music styles. When not playing, teaching, directing or listening to music, he likes to bicycle, run, play with their cats Rugby and Lucci, and watch his favorite soccer teams --Bayern Munich, Brookfield Central, and the DSHA Dashers!
Mr. Eagon has been teaching at St. Dominic School since 2015.
