Erika Reinders

Student Minister

Office: 262.781.3480, Ext. 250

Erika is truly a Wisconsinite at heart: loving everything Wisconsin has to offer from lakes to cheese and even snow! Working for a year in the desert of Arizona made it clear that God was calling her home to Wisconsin and to St. Dominic Parish.

Erika is an adult convert to the faith who came fully into the church through RCIA at St. Charles in Hartland. Since then the Lord has called her on an incredible adventure, first to serve as a Life Teen core team member at St. Charles and later to work for Life Teen International as a parish specialist. With Life Teen, she traveled around the country chatting with youth ministers and priests about starting or revamping their youth ministry. Although this mission was fruitful, she is beyond excited to be back in Wisconsin directly serving teens, especially in the dynamic parish community of St. Dominic’s. Erika's responsibilities include overseeing our Edge and Life Teen ministries including retreats, camps and mission trips.

Erika loves reading anything from fiction to history, philosophy or theology, so it’s fitting that she has a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Wisconsin Madison. She is also working online towards a Masters in Catechetics and Evangelization through Franciscan University.

Erika loves waterskiing and grilling in the summer and ice skating in the winter. She also genuinely enjoys watching football, baseball, and basketball but would never win a fantasy league or a march madness bracket and is very ok with that.
