Greetings and blessings! My name is Karissa Tousignant and I am honored and excited to be serving St. Dominic Catholic Parish as the middle school minister. I grew up cradle Catholic and was involved in music ministry at our home parish of St. Anthony on the Lake in Pewaukee. I began to grow in my faith after attending World Youth Day in High School. Following that experience my faith and life of ministry grew. I served on a retreat team called Spiritus for two years leading teens and young adults into a deeper relationship with Christ. Eventually I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from Silver Lake College and began a variety of different parish-based ministries in the Diocese of Green Bay. I graduated with my Master’s Degree in Theology from Sacred Heart Seminary and School of Theology and served as the faith formation director at St. Mary and St. Anthony Parishes in Menomonee Falls. In the summer of 2022, I started attending St. Dominic and began to realize I had walked into a new family by joining the parish. When I was made aware of the middle school position, I knew immediately that St. Dominic Catholic Parish was where the Lord was calling me to serve next. I am grateful to be a part of this beautiful parish family!
