Summer Trips with Life Teen is an incredible opportunity for teens to have an awe-inspiring experience of life.  Teens are able to able to be free and confident in themselves, develop new friendships with other teens from our parish, and encounter God working in their lives. This is the summer that you begin to experience a bigger and better life than you ever thought possible. Look through our trip options below!

Camp Cana is Located just outside of St. Louis, Missouri, this stunning property – a former vineyard and winery – will become a sacred space for teenagers from across the Midwest and beyond to experience a life-changing encounter with Christ.

Mission Trips

Why Go On A Mission Trip?

“Life grows by being given away.” (Pope Francis)
By participating on a mission trip you are living the church’s mission and extending yourself out of love to help those in need.  When you leave the familiarity and comfort of your normal routine to serve others, you are enriching not only their lives; but your own.  In your encounters with others, in your work, in your prayer, and in your daily sacrifices you come face-to-face with Christ and become who you were created to be.

Mission of Mercy

Open to incoming 6th grade through outgoing 8th grade students.
July 5-9, 2026 (No overnight) St. Dominic Catholic Parish

MISSION OF MERCY provides teens with an opportunity to encounter Jesus Christ in a Life-Changing way through local mission work where youth live in Catholic community and continue Christ’s work on earth. We work on a small scale with a larger perspective. No task is too small in the eyes of the Lord when filled with great love. We will aim for perfection in our work because our work belongs to the Lord.

Fundraising

We believe that our EDGE and Life Teen Summer Trips are life-changing opportunities for teens to encounter and fall in love with Christ.  But, these trips come at an expense. We offer some fundraisers to help families offset some of the costs.

Sponsor Letters

The sponsor letter fundraiser is a great and easy way to let family members know about your mission trip this summer and to ask for their prayers and also financial support. Teens are asked to write a personal letter to friends and family. Please contact Karissa or Claire to learn more about this opportunity!

Lenten Fish Fries

The proceeds from our parish Lenten fish fries help fund our summer trips. All students participating in trips are expected to volunteer at fish fries. This year's fish fries will be on March 6th and 22nd, 2026.
