Mrs. Melanie Polaski
Learning Support Teacher
Office: 262.783.7565, Ext. 254
Mrs. Polaski holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, as well as a master’s degree in education from Marian University in Fond du Lac. After 17 years as a claims supervisor in the insurance industry, Melanie spent over a decade as an adjunct instructor in business and general education at Waukesha County Technical College, before spending 11 years as a 4th grade teacher at St. Dominic Catholic School. She has been a learning support teacher and regular substitute teacher at St. Dominic since 2014.
St. Dominic has been a focal point in her life - she, her husband Paul, and son Dan, have been parish members since 1994, and Dan is a 2004 graduate of the parish school. Through her long affiliation with St. Dominic, and as a Catholic school parent for 13 years, Melanie’s belief in the value of a Catholic education has only grown stronger with each passing year.
She values the opportunity to develop each student’s mind, character, and love for Christ, while growing and worshiping as a community in a unique faith-based environment.
