St. Dominic Catholic School 18105 W. Capitol Drive Brookfield, WI 53045
We serve working families with onsite care before, during and after school from 7:00 AM - 5:45 PM. Extended care reinforces the school's philosophy of teaching Christian values. The program provides a balance of structured and non-structured activities for the children. Learning activities are balanced with free play. Older children have the opportunity to complete their assignments as part of their stay in the after school program.
Knights for Christ
St. Dominic Catholic School prepares students to face all the challenges and opportunities of life by putting on the knight's armor, the "Armor of God." We also live by a code, a code much like the code of chivalry employed under the Emperor Charlemagne in the middle ages. Our Knights are loyal, brave, and true to the cause. A Knight is a defender of the faith - faithful to God and neighbor, upholding virtue over vice. We humbly ask that you take up the task with us - to be defenders of the faith by living a life in relationship with Jesus Christ; to do all things for His greater glory.
The St. Dominic Preschool Program helps your child learn to socialize, be respectful of others, and problem-solve. Your child will explore, play with peers, and build confidence, all within a safe and caring environment. We offer half-day and full-day options for K3 and K4 students taught by licensed and trained teachers every day. Our Kindergarten Connection Program blends academics with social interactions and play-based learning that is crucial to the formation of young children using the Wisconsin Model of Early Learning Standards. Children must be age three by September 1 for K3 enrollment and age four by September 1 for K4 enrollment.
Students enrolled at St. Dominic Catholic School have the opportunity to participate in several options in the area of the arts. All offerings are made possible through the efforts of the Fine Arts Committee of the Home and School Association: strings, band, school musical, forensics summer theater camp.
Students in grades 5-8 are eligible to participate in the St. Dominic athletics program. These activities are separate from the physical education curriculum and occur after school hours and on the weekends. The athletic program is sponsored by the Athletic Association: boys and girls volleyball, boys and girls basketball, co-ed track, and co-ed tennis.
St. Dominic Catholic School offers cocurriculars and a variety of extracurricular activities. Student participation in extracurricular opportunities is a privilege. Some of our offerings include: Campus Ministry, Chess Club, Student Council and Scouting.
