Uniforms
Students at St. Dominic Catholic School are expected to wear a uniform. We believe that what a person wears does both influence and reflect school behavior and learning. Students in K3 and K4 do not wear the school uniform.
Uniform Shorts
Uniform Shorts are worn on a limited schedule: first day of class through October 15 and April 15 through the end of the school year.
Non-Uniform Days
Periodically, throughout the school year, students are permitted to be out of uniform. When out of uniform, it is important that students continue to make appropriate clothing choices to emulate the virtue of chastity.
Gym Uniforms
Students in Grades 5 - 8 are required to wear a St. Dominic Catholic School gym uniform to physical education classes. Non-marking shoes are required for participation.
Scout Uniforms
Girl Scouts should wear their official Girl Scout uniform (tan pants and vest or sash) on days that they have meetings (no jeans). Boy Scouts should wear their official boy scout shirt with the school uniform pants. No boy scout t-shirts are allowed in place of the uniform.
No scout uniforms are to be worn on Mass days.
Spiritwear
Shirts designating participation in a St. Dominic club or activity or having the St. Dominic Catholic School academic or knight logo, may be worn on Spiritwear Fridays. It is only upon permission from the principal that an exception may be made.
For full uniform guidelines and policies, please see the Parent/Student Handbook.
