Mrs. Pam Patterson

5th Grade Teacher

Office: 262.783.7565, Ext. 269

Mrs. Patterson developed her love of Catholic education through experiences as a student (grades 1-12), teacher, and parent. Having a faith-based education is very important to her. She knew she wanted to be a teacher at a young age as she often pretended to be the teacher in role-play situations with her siblings and cousins. Math became of high interest to her in 7th grade when she was allowed to learn algebra independently. Since then, it has always been a fun puzzle to solve. She went to UW-Madison for a BS in Education with a minor in math, and has taught math at various levels in several schools over the years.

As a teacher, Mrs. Patterson wants her students to also enjoy math and excel in it. She tries to find the best strategies to help students succeed. She believes attitude, working with others, talking about math, and perseverance are keys to acquiring math skills.

Outside of school, she likes to spend time with her husband, Mike, and their 6 children. Her hobbies are biking, reading, gardening, and hiking. She loves to travel whenever possible, so it's great to have spring break and summers off!
