Ms. Amy Baumann has been teaching since 1992. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Mount Mary University. She was a colleague of Mrs. Jill Fischer at St. John Vianney where she taught second grade. Prior to St. John Vianney, she taught first grade at St. Gregory the Great and second grade at St. Augustine.
Ms. Baumann believes every child is a special gift from God and has the right to learn in a safe, nurturing environment where their ideas are respected and valued. She hopes to deepen each child’s relationship with Jesus through example, prayer, service towards others, and sharing of her own faith. She loves to seek out new and innovative teaching techniques in order to reach all of her students’ learning styles and to make learning exciting and fun.
When Ms. Baumann is not teaching, she enjoys reading, gardening, spending time with her family, and watching movies.
