Spirit Team

What to expect:

This team works in many ways to promote, encourage, welcome and market our school to guests and prospects and to help maintain school spirit and appreciation.

Opportunities:
  • Ambassadors/Mentors: Bring your St. Dominic pride and offer your assistance as a school ambassador during Open Houses or a new family mentor to welcome and help connect with those who are joining our school community.
  • Bulletin Boards: Creative energies are put to good use in designing and installing bulletin board displays throughout the year.
  • Creative arts: Those with skills in writing, editing, photography, videography and graphic design are encouraged to help tell our story.
  • Spirit Wear: Assists with the sale of spiritwear and other items. Meet with the vendor, organize, process orders, and distribute to families. Most effort is required mid-August through early November.
  • Teacher Appreciation:

Help Me Find a Team

immediate needs

Any adult member of the parish is encouraged to consider serving in our day school. Any person who serves with children needs to have Safeguarding Training. Training sessions are offered throughout the archdiocese on various dates and times. Our current immediate needs are in the following areas:

  • Knights Cafe: Come and enjoy the chance to meet our students in the Knights Cafe, while supervising during their lunchtime.
  • Playground: Kids love the chance to take a break from their studies after lunch. Consider offering your time to keep them safe and supervised on the playground.
  • Resource Center/Library: Wanted: detail oriented, computer literate individuals willing to share their time to help enter new books into our database.
  • Extended Care: We are looking for a few smiling faces who love children. Both volunteer and employment opportunities are available.
